Under the supervision of the Mechanic Foreman, the Warehouse Mechanic is responsible for maintaining warehouse and retail store product moving equipment. Performs Periodic Maintenance on all equipment on a regularly scheduled basis. Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces electrical and mechanical parts. Performs ARC, TIG and Acetylene welding and uses cutting torch to complete structural repairs and to fabricate parts. Uses a variety of mechanic’s hand and power tools. May charge and repair batteries, depending upon staffing.   The warehouse is operational 24 hours per day, 6½ days per week, and 362 days per year. This position requires availability from 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am.
