The Front-End Coordinator has the most control over the first and last impression a customer gets when they visit our store. The Market 5-ONE-5 team is here to make a statement about eating healthy by only offering products that fit into our high standards, and being able to educate our customers about what we sell. The ideal candidate should be excited about “real” healthy food and helping others. This team player is willing to help wherever needed and eager to engage with any customer looking for assistance. This role requires oversight of the front end operations, as well as the basic housekeeping of the store. The leader should be able to direct others clearly and lead a team dedicated to the people who shop with us.      


  • Primary oversight of daily front end procedures including, register use, cash handling inventory adjustment, opening and closing procedures, and speed standards.
  • Training and development of the front-end team, including future leaders.


    • Plans organizes and executes all front-end activities
    • Assists experience manager on scheduling of front end and housekeeping hours.
    • Deliver budgeted sales and profitability, while controlling shrink, labor, and other expenses in front.
  • Educating customers and team members on products.
  • Maintain and enforce all health and safety rules.
  • Managing of ECRS system functions as needed.
  • Understands and oversees compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, state and federal laws, company policies and procedures.
  • Assists in all hiring, training, and accountability of front end team.
  • Assists Experience Manager with social media and marketing for the store.
  • Conducts timely and in-depth employee evaluation and feedback with front end team.
  • Organize and lead events for team member recognition.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a retail setting. Work hours are generally 40 hours or more per week. This environment involves working with a diverse range of customers, vendors, and team members.
