The primary function of a Cake Decorator is to decorate cakes, prepare, stock, serve and merchandise bakery products for our customers and maintain our high standards of safety and sanitation.
A Cake Decorator is also a Bakery Clerk and is also responsible for customer service, ensuring the availability of products, work area cleanliness and light maintenance of equipment and cases.
Some responsibilities include:
-Serving customers in a cheerful and helpful manner. Waiting on customers, taking special cake orders, answering questions and bagging/pricing products per customer order.
-Icing sheet cakes using pre-made icing, decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators discretion.
- Maintaining a clean work environment by cleaning all work surfaces, display cases, windows, tables, dishes, equipment and service areas with approved cleaners and sanitizers.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Cake decorating experience is highly preferred.
