Overview

Production Bakery Plant Workers assist bakers and decorators in the production and packaging of bakery products.  This position also performs tasks necessary to maintain the Production Bakery's current cleaning and sanitation standards.  Qualified candidates will have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task. 

 

The Production Bakery is operational up to 7 days per week and workers may work day or night shifts.  Combination Workers are scheduled to work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Compensation

The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Combination Worker follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.  Employees in this job classification are assigned duties to assist bakers in producing and packaging bakery products and decorators in decorating product.  This job classification also includes duties required to maintain the current cleaning and sanitation standards of the Production Bakery.

Qualifications

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.  Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and have the ability to receive direction and perform duties.  Applicants must be flexible in changing work priorities and act in a responsive manner to requests.  Applicants must be able to communicate effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously within established timelines.  Applicants must have the ability to work with a team or independently in an accurate and timely manner.  Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screening test and passing a pre-employment physical ability test, consistent with the physical demands of the job.
