Are you a creative foody that enjoys working with others? Then an Assistant Food Service Team Lead is the position for you! Under the supervision of the Food Service Team Leader, you will oversee the operation of the store’s entire Food Service area. This includes the Fresh Service Bakery, the Fresh Service Deli, and the Café.
Leading Team Members by example to provide outstanding customer service by pro-actively approaching customers, educating them about unique food service offerings, making suggestions and helping locate products throughout the department.
Maintaining the overall appearance of all food service departments, merchandising cases and displays consistent with company standards to showcase quality.
Using passion and knowledge of products to educate both team members and customers.
Maintaining open lines of communication with team members to ensure smooth department operations.
Educating and ensuring team members are properly handling products, using equipment, and maintaining a safe a clean department.
Exceptional leadership skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to successfully delegate and develop team members.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and react to a variety of situations at one time.
Promoting great customer service, while offering our customers the the best Food Service products available.
Ability to operate a personal computer and related software including spreadsheet applications are recommended.
1 year of demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
No disciplinary action in the last 6 months.
Must have endorsement of current STL
